PLANET GOING THE WRONG WAY

[SCI-TECH: Liège, August 13]
A European team has detected a giant planet that revolves the wrong way around a star. This has been discovered within the British WASP project, which includes Michael Gillon, an astronomer at Liège University, among the team. The project, the Wide Area Search for Planets, records this as the 17th planet that it has discovered and the largest thus far. Check the website.
