MOBILE BUS TICKETING

The telecom operators Base and Mobistar have declined to work on the mobile ticket operation for the public bus company De Lijn. The Flemish Minister of Mobility Hilde Crevits announced. The problem is, in the view of the minister, on the one hand on the technological developments that are required and the platforms of both operators, but also because Base and Mobistar required a commission of 50%. That was unacceptable to the bus company.
