The ports of Liège and Rotterdam want to cooperate more closely. This was revealed at a meeting by representatives of both ports. Currently, 21 million tons are transported via Liège and a lot of raw materials come from the Port of Rotterdam to industrial clients in Liège. Liège would like to increase its role as the inland port for the North Sea and it has a cooperative agreement in this connection with the Port of Antwerp too.
