On Thursday, March 5 the first wide body MD11 aircraft of Ethiopian Airlines made its inaugural flight to Europe, destination Liège Airport. The aircraft departed from Addis-Ababa and, after a tech-stop in Cairo, reached Liege Airport in the early evening. As already announced, Ethiopian Airlines has relocated its cargo activities to Liège Airport in June 2008.
