CROSS-BORDER INFRASTRUCTURE

The Aachen Traffic Association, (AVV) responsible foe Aachen’s public transport, has made an interesting proposal for cross-border public transport. The proposal is for them(AVV) to tender a joint bid, with the Province of Limburg (NL), for public transport, stating in 2017, with one company and no need to change buses covering the Aachen urban agglomeration through to Maastricht. AVV’s local contracts with DN end in 2010 and Limburg’s with Veolia run to 2016.
