LOMMEL’S SANDS

The municipality of Lommel will soon have the world’s largest collection of sands. This comprises 13,000 different types of sand with additional photos, slides and publications. Wieske Kramer from The Netherlands wants to donate the collection to the Limburg(B) municipality. Her late husband assembled the collection and it is now to go into a future regional tourism center.
