[LOG: Opglabbeek, January 21] The warehouse meets the requirements of ISO 13485-2003 certification. The Healthcare campus had to be expanded to deal with three new customers for the DC. The total storage capacity is now 75,000m2 and this can be expanded to 125,000 which will mean jobs for 350.
DHL Exel Supply Chain has opened a new warehouse in Belgium. This 14,000m2 distribution center is on the Opglabbeek Healthcare campus and DHL will be supplying its customers Europe-wide with medicines and medical aids from here. It has a warehousing function with direct deliveries to pharmacies and hospitals and delivery straight to the OR. In addition, there are value added services like the repackaging of products for specific requirements.
