LIEGE STATION DISTRICT

The Walloon regional government has approved the plans for the renovation of the Liège district of Guillemins. The area to be upgraded is between the new TGV station and the Meuse. The architects Dethier have made proposals for skyscraper flats on the Meuse, offices, shops, houses, public space, etc. European subsidies will also be sought for this new area. Next year, when the new station opens, work will begin.
