NEW FOUNTAIN AT ST ETIENNE

A new fountain by the artist Emile Desmedt has been placed in the center of the new St Etienne Square behind the new St Lambert Gallery in Liège. It’s produced by Emile Desmedt from Tournai, whose work can be seen elsewhere, in Montagne Sainte-Walburge for example, and in the open air in the Walloon region. It’s just behind the Gallery St Lambert and costs EUR 142,000. There is, however, one small spelling mistake on the inscription — but that will no doubt give it a unique power of attraction.
