N280-EAST OPENED

The province of Limburg (NL) opened the N280-East highway from Roermond to Elmpt on November 23. Councilor Ijff, of the municipality of Roermond, the engineering director Beguin of the State Water Board and Mr. Maatz, of the ministry of highways from North-Rhine Westphalia, had given deputy Driessen the start for the opening of this new provincial highway. The N280-East and the Bundesautobahn A52 in Germany at Niederkrüchten in Elmpt are an important link for east-west traffic.
