DIALECT ON TOUR

Dialect artists from the three-border area are going on a tour of Meuse-Rhine for the third year in succession. The dialect event is called Os Moddersproak and starts on September 26 in ’t Ströatje in Landgraaf. An additional dialect evening will be held in the Bergzicht Hall in Vijlen on October 3. The evening program will have lots of variety. Among the Belgian participants are Damenchor (the ladies choir), Carpe Diem from Kelmis and Troubadour Hans Wertz from Eupen. The highlight is the first-time-ever live appearance of the miners’ band Carboon.

The idea of the event is to show the public that the dialects are very flexible across borders nowadays. Tickets are available now on +31-6-40702515 and from September 1 at a number of shops.
