HASSELT FOUNDATION STONE

On November 6 the foundation stone for the new Hasselt University campus was laid at the former penitentiary on the Avenue of the Martyrs (Martelarenlaan) in Hasselt at 16:00 – one trusts that this singular address does not portend ill. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Vice President of the Flemish government and the Flemish minister of innovation, Ingrid Leiten, Governor Reynders, and Hilde Claes, the new mayor of Hasselt.
