EUR 250,000 FOR RESEARCH

The Dutch Research Organization has awarded EUR 250,000 for a period of three years to five student research projects at the Maastricht University. ‘Paying the Public Sector’ by Dr Teun Dekker; ‘Antibodies as One-Arm Bandits in Auto-Immune Disease’ by Dr Mario Losen, Neuroscience; ‘The Concept of the Development of Visual Skills’ by Dr Mark Roberts, psychology and neuroscience; ‘Pain – A Question of Interpretation by Dr Linda Vancleef, clinical psychological science; and ‘Harnessing the Power of Local Search in Optimization and Game Theory’ by Dr Heiko Röglin, department of quantative economics.
