GREEN VISITS TRIANEL SITE

A delegation from the German Green party, with Claudia Roth, visited the site of the new coal-fired Trianel plant in Lünen, which is expected to be completed in 2012 and to employ 1,000. The Greens are against coal-fired plants, but Trianel management were pleased that they came to exchange views. Trianel management pointed out that ideas had to be exchanged about energy and Germany had to remain competitive.
