MAYOR PHILIPP OF AACHEN

The new Mayor of Aachen is Marcel Philipp (1971) married to Gabriele Philipp, née Cosler. They have two young children. He was born in Aachen and educated at the Pius-Gymnasium in the city. He then completed his military service and trained as a master painter before entering a family business. He is a Christian Democrat (CDU).
