[EDIT: Liège, August 14]The Mayor of Aachen (since 1989) Dr Jürgen Linden received the Honorary Citizenship of the City of Liège on August 14, because of his very particular services to cross-border cooperation between the major cities in the Meuse-Rhine Euroregion. In December last year Mayor Linden became an honorary citizen of Heerlen, and this increasingly confirms the appreciation of his cross-border work in Meuse-Rhine.
