[BIZ: Maastricht, January 10] Spanish Delegation At the initiative of the chambers of commerce in Brabant and the central Netherlands, and of the EVD (Business Information Service) a trade delegation from Spain will be visiting the Netherlands from February 13 to 17. It will include some 15 decision makers in the area of the Spanish care for the elderly who want to learn about how the Netherlands handles this issue. For Dutch business the mission is an opportunity to learn about the Spanish market. An ageing population and the high demand for quality of care and social economic developments in Spain are leading to a great need for innovative cost-saving solutions in this sector. Financial statements due by January 31 Company Financial statements have to be presented by January 31. If you run a BV company, your annual report for the financial year 2010 must be presented at the latest on January 31 at the chamber of commerce. Matchmaking Mobile World Congress February 27 through March 1, the Mobile World Congress of the Enterprise Europe Network will be held in Barcelona for the seventh time. The fair, with its 6,000 visitors, is the biggest in the area of mobile technology. Businesses can register for personal matchmaking and to contact various business partners in the various sectors. Cost of participation is EUR 300. Mobility Vouchers in 2012 The subsidy program for mobility vouchers has been extended this year. An assessment shows that employers are becoming more intelligent and conscious of mobility. With the voucher, an employer can have a mobility scan done by an advisor and get advice on mobility rules. Office Hours There will be various office hours at the chamber. January 17 in Roermond on marketing, on January 4 in Sittard on Accountancy, on February 1 in Venlo on debts. On January 20 in Venlo there will be a session on cradle to cradle. On January 23 in Venlo a session titled ‘The innovation of new links’, and on February 8 in Roermond, a session titled ‘Innovation using sustainable business’ will be held. There will be a new chamber course for the French-language market and extra money for social innovation.
