EVS Q2 UP 62%
[BIZ: Liège, August 26] The first half of 2010 saw sales increase by 40%. The net gain rose in the second quarter by 125% to EUR 11.2m. The company owes the results to a degree to the World Cup 2010 championship where EVS technology was used in all of the stadiums. The company at present has a record order book worth EUR 38.9m, up 65%. The revenue expectations for the complete financial year have been updated to almost EUR 100m.
EVS, the specialist in recording and playback, has seen its figures for Q2 go up 62% to EUR 32m in comparison with the same period for 2009. In the meantime, the order book has achieved records. According to the financial director, Jacques Galloy, the quarterly figures mean it’s back to growth after two calm years.
