ARMACELL INSULATION REWARDED
[BIZ: Clermont-Thimister, August 18] With ArmaSound Industrial Systems Armacell provides a thermal-acoustic insulation system that meets the acoustic insulation requirements with significantly reduced insulation thickness and weight when compared with traditional insulation constructions. ArmaSound Industrial Systems provide not only the desired noise control; the insulation systems also protect the installations against condensation and moisture penetration. They therefore effectively reduce the risk of corrosion under insulation (CUI). Depending on the area of application, the product is available in different versions with various insulation layers and thickness levels. The core of the sandwich construction is ArmaSound RD, an open-cell acoustic foam with excellent sound absorption properties even at lower insulation thickness. All ArmaSound Industrial Systems meet the requirements of ISO 15665 ‘Acoustics. Acoustic insulation for pipes, valves and flanges’. After the awards ceremony, Mark E. Armacell’s new thermal-acoustic insulation systems were chosen by an international jury as one of the best products at the ISO ’10 in Wiesbaden (Germany). At the leading European exhibition for insulation materials and technology, the ArmaSound Industrial Systems won one of the prestigious ISO Awards. The ISO Award is the highest accolade for insulation products in Europe, perhaps even in the world.
