CHEESE FESTIVAL

On August 15, the annual competition among Walloon cheeses was held, when the best were selected by a panel of journalists. This has been going since 1985 and this time the winners were the Saint Servais from the Fromagerie of the Ardennes and the Moelleux d’Aywaille. The press was very pleased with the Vieux Chimay and the Grand Prix Special went to the Tomme à pâte dure by Benoît Duysens. Check the website.
