CIRO+ PRIVATE COMPANY

Maastricht University Hospital (AZM) and Proteion Thuis, Horn is to become a center for expertise in chronic organ failure in the South East Netherlands as CIRO+. The choice of a private company is to enable a more rigorous decision-making process. The forms have been signed by Guy Peeters, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AZM and Mr Wijers, Chairman of the Board of Proteion Home.

CIRO+ offers comprehensive treatment for patients with complex healthcare needs in chronic organ failure, such as COPD and heart failure, in combination with the care function. The center for chronic organ failure itself is increasingly a center of expertise. CIRO is a collaborative operation between Proteion Thuis and AZM.
