MOBILE ACCESS

Mobile Access, a project on wireless local area network (WLAN), is moving ahead in Aachen and will offer services including pedestrian navigation, a tourist guide, a city shopping guide, online communities and games. It runs through 2012 and will be tested in 2011 and will cost the city of Aachen EUR 100,000: EUR 45,000 comes from a North-Rhine Westphalian bank and the city of Aachen will have a EUR 55,000 share.
