[BIZ: Liège, March 8] Brand new offices and many personalized services will be available free of charge, excluding telecommunications, to India companies which will be able to devote themselves exclusively to their daily business from a base in Belgium, allowing ease of travel throughout Europe. The service will include the presence of a bilingual expert in English and French, assistance in matters of language and culture, assistance with practical, logistical matters (visas, travel permits, etc), initial prospects in the European market, market studies, networking with leading European professionals in specific industries and commercial use of the Walloon network in Europe. In the science parks, there are ultra-modern telecom services, high-tech business centers to welcome companies, and specialist, sector-specific offices for the aerospace, life science, agro-food and mechanical engineering sectors among others. The Walloon Country is setting up a new India office at the SPI development company in Liège. AWEX, the Walloon foreign trade and investment authority, facilitates cooperation between the science parks in Wallonia (Spow) and Indian technology firms. Various agreements have been negotiated between private partners and public bodies in networks throughout India. As part of this development between India and Europe, AWEX is offering Indian companies a base in Liège, between Germany and Brussels, which is specially dedicated to innovative Indian companies wishing to expand in Europe.
