HAT TRICK FOR TRIANEL

Trainel GmbH in Aachen, the Euroregional power company, with its partners in Hahn, Lummen and Krefeld, and its gas storage company Gronau-Epe, is now for the third year in succession one of the 100 best employers in Germany. This result was announced this week at the presentation of Germany’s Best Employers for 2010 in the presence of the federal minister Ursula von der Leyen. The distinction reflects quality and attractiveness as an employer. ‘This is good news for us’, said Jorg Vogt, responsible for staff.

An anonymous questionnaire with 60 questions is at the heart of the assessment. This involves performance, ideas and measurement. The company has a particularly efficient structure. The company employs a staff of 250 with an average age of 36 and last year the numbers rose by 20% despite the crises.

The assessment was carried out by The Great Place to Work Institute Deutschland in cooperation with Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
