STAR-APIC IN THE WOODS

The Belgian Royal Forestry Association has chosen STAR-APIC for the acquisition, installation and maintenance of a geographical information system (GIS) as a result of a procedure in the context of the Interreg IVA Grande Region in Regiowood, which concerns the Walloon country, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Rhineland palatinate. The objective of the program is to inform owners of private forests of the situation in these four regions using a fact base and cartography, with a view to facilitating the durable management of forests and the mobilization of facilities.

This new development reinforces the position of STAR-APIC as a leading actor in cartographic solutions for forestry management.
