A BUSINESS-LIKE APPROACH

Deputy Jos Hessels has presented the new approach to business to be employed by the province, as was determined under the Pact of Thorn, which was signed three years ago by the province and the employers’ association, the Chamber of Commerce and the Royal Dutch Catering Association. The pact involves two principles. One is that there should be a business-like attitude on the part of the government and they should set up service points. Thus far there has been one municipality in Limburg that has set up this service point, house of business, and this is Sittard-Geleen. No doubt more will follow.
