AVABEL AND ACE GO WALLOON

[BIZ: Liège, September 21]
The Avabel and ACE companies from Houthalen have been taken over by the brothers Philippe and Thierry Dubois and the Walloon company DHK from Châtelineau. This makes no difference for their customers and staff.

Avabel produces aluminum profiles and roof constructions. ACE makes insulating strips and distributes a whole range of insulating products. They were in the hands of Pierre Simkens. Each employs 25. Both companies have now been taken over by the Dubois brothers. ‘We think it’s a wonderful opportunity to have Avabel and ACE together. DHK and Avabel are complementary. This will strengthen their position on the market in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.’

The deal was sealed by Winx Dealmakers.
