TELE2 BRAND LEAVES BELGIUM
[BIZ: Brussels, September 18] KPN says that this will improve the convergence between both activities and the existing offering can be expanded.
At the end of September, the Tele2 brand will depart from the Belgian market and be replaced by the Base telecom brand. The parent company KPN Belgium announced this two years ago. KPN took over the Belgian branch of the Swedish telecom company, Tele2. KPN intended to offer fixed-line connections on the Belgian market with this brand, but last October, it was decided that the brand should disappear from the Belgian market. As it had been replaced by the Base brand on the business market, the same decision was taken on the consumer front.
