The Dutch violinist and orchestra director André Rieu is in the fourth place on the list of the world’s Top 25 touring shows, according to the American authority on the music industry ‘Billboard’. In fact, Rieu is the leading man. He sold 554,242 tickets in H1, 2009, with revenues of USD 57.4m. Only Madonna, Tina Turner and Britney Spears beat him, but they are all women.
