EUROPEAN SME WEEK

The first European SME week will be held from May 6 through 14. It is a campaign to promote business throughout Europe, and to inform the business community about the support available for them at the European local and national level. It allows SMEs to discover a range of information, advice, support and ideas to help them with their business activities. Belgium’s German-speaking community is holding a special seminar to get the ideas across. It has invited speakers from Germany, and export activity is extremely important in the region. The Walloon export association AWEX, which has an office with the community’s development company, offers a great deal of support in his area.
