BOMBARDIER: SAMCO FOR DASH-8

Samco Aircraft Maintenance BV at Maastricht-Aachen Airport have received the status of Recognized Service Facility (RSF) from the Canadian aircraft manufacturer, Bombardier, for their Dash-8 series in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Bombardier recognizes Samco as a recommended maintenance company for ‘C’-checks (performed approximately every 12-18 months or 2500 Flight Hours (FH). This maintenance check puts the aircraft out of service and requires plenty of space - usually at a hangar at a maintenance base) and for major maintenance on all models of the Dash-8 series. Samco can also carryout modifications and upgrades on this series of aircraft of which 250 are operational, with various airlines in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, at this time. The recognition is important for Samco, but also for Maastricht-Aachen Airport and its aircraft-maintenance cluster in general.
