VODAFONE AND TELEFONICA

The British mobile phone company, Vodafone, and its Spanish colleague, Telefonica, are going to divide their mobile phone activities over four European countries, in Germany, Spain, Ireland and Britain. There are also developments ongoing with the Czech Republic. This means that they will be sharing their 2G and 3G network infrastructure.
