FLYCATCHER QUALITY CERT.

The Maastricht research company, Flycatcher, has been awarded the ISO-26362 — the quality certificate designed for research organizations. This ISO standard was introduced in January 2009.

ISO-26362: 2009 specifies the terms and definitions as well as the service requirements for organizations and professionals who own or use access panels in market, opinion and social research. It develops the criteria that allow access panel providers and their quality to be assessed. ISO-26362 is applicable to all types of access panels whether recruited and used online via the Internet or off-line via telephone, post or face-to-face interaction.

This is a worldwide standard and Flycatcher from Maastricht is the only bureau outside of the western Dutch Randstad conurbation to have been awarded the certificate. The Flycatcher panel is made up of 20,000 people - regarded as a valid sample for quantitative research. Panel privacy is guaranteed by registration with the data protection authority. The Flycatcher Internet Research organization is attached to the University of Maastricht.
