EASY EXPORTING FOR SMES

Bruno Bernard and Laetitia Vignaud have produced a short (124pp), practical and readable handbook on exporting for small businesses. It is full of practical advice,e.g.: on watching your alcohol intake when doing business in Eastern Europe and not giving gifts of Champagne to Muslims. The authors note also that in Begium, the business gifts are given after the deal is done and mention Galler chocolates. A closing suggestion is to start with one A4 page in English, with a couple of photos, which is scannable, mailable and faxable and then to get on with the job. The book is called "L'export facile pour les PME et PMI" and is published in Liège by Edipro for EUR 39.
