CAMPUS EUREGIO

[BIZ/EDU: Koslar, February 24]
Initiatives for new training positions are ongoing in Germany and this is promoted by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research and the European Union. There will now be a job starter project called Campus Euregio, which will start in Koslar on March 1 at the CyTec Company. The idea was initially a cross-border training initiative that was to receive an additional EUR 100,000, but now there is EUR 416,000 in the pot. The project initiators have received money from Berlin and there will be cooperation with Belgium and The Netherlands to develop training with prospects and synergies. The organizers with the project leader, Herbert Smolarski, want to create 60 extra jobs, and 30 of them should be across the border. The idea is to produce cross-border job training.
