NEW ERP FOR AZM

Magma IT Solutions has completed an integrated information system and enterprise resource system (ERP) for Maastricht University Hospital (AZM). The hospital completed the first phase of the project at the beginning of January that will lead to a completely new integrated information provision for the whole organization. The first phase includes integrated information systems to support the tertiary processes within the AZM organization. These include purchasing, logistics, Financial Accounting & Controlling HR, salaries and facilities. The AZM is one of the few hospitals in The Netherlands to have introduced an ERP system to cover the whole range of tertiary processes.

The system will be used daily by 800 staff and the implementation has lasted 18 months and now has been successfully completed. In the coming months there will be an introduction of follow-on processes.

The software was provided by SAP Nederland and Magma IT Solutions.
