In an interview with Jos Schneiders, the director of DSM Limburg and concerned with regional branding, Mr Schneiders makes the point that South Limburg combines to make an excellent product. With Maastricht as a center for shopping, etc. and Parkstad as a residential area and the hills in between, the whole area has a great deal to offer and the parts should perhaps be best be seen as complementary.
