IMMOQUEST’S BLACK CAT

[BIZ: Liège, July 8]
Everybody used to driving from Maastricht to Liège along the E25 will recall the scent of chocolate that used to arise from the Kraft Jacobs Suchard plant along the way. Now a construction team is about to turn the empty building into the Chat Noir (or Black Cat) Business Center.

This is a major opportunity for the Liège region and a new real estate development for Bressoux and Droixhe. An association between Promo Immo Invest, a subsidiary of the DURO HOME group, the architects ACTE 1- ALTIPLAN° and Immoquest is going to investigate the options and show the value of this redevelopment. The originality is the location itself. The location, as we have noted, is on the E25. There will be approximately 20,000m2 of office space and about 55,000m2 for parking. It’s thought that the most obvious type of business would be the agri-food business, which would add the best value to the area and to the north of Liège. SME permits will provide space for offices, a certain amount of residential space, and all in all, it looks pretty interesting.

The buildings are currently a basement of 5,443m2, a ground floor of 6,279m2, first floor of 4,430m2 and the second of 4,083m2. Check it out.
