PAION AG AQUIRES CENES

The management board of Paion AG and the board of directors of CeNeS Pharmaceuticals plc, have announced that, following court orders being filed with the registrar of companies, the scheme related to the recommended acquisition of CeNeS by Paion is now effective and Paion now earns 100% of CeNeS’s share capital. In the first move to integrate the two companies, Dr Gavin Kilpatrick of CeNeS has been appointed to the management board of Paion as chief scientific officer. CeNeS is a European specialty pharmaceutical company, concerned with discovering and developing treatments for disorders related to the central nervous system, particularly in the areas of pain, anesthesia, and neurology.
