RECORD FOR TESSENDERLO

The Tessenderlo Group achieved an annual result last year of EUR 150m. That’s the best that the group has ever achieved and is, to an important degree, thanks to major restructuring and savings. The plan produced EUR 39m in savings last year, which was particularly noticeable in the chemicals and fine chemicals area. The net result of the group is also partly thanks to the sale this year of a joint venture in the United States. At the same time, Tessenderlo Chemicals was able to include the increase in prices for raw materials and energy in its sales prices.
