I-COMMOTION IN NORWAY

The Hasselt ICT SME, i-Commotion, has signed a contract with the Norwegian virtual operator, Trigcom. This last company is going to distribute ‘MobileAnywhere for Microsoft Dynamics CRM' in Norway. In concrete terms, Trigcom will sell the flexible solutions for smart phones, and rent them to its clients in Norway. The cooperation is the first concrete step in the development of a European partner network for the distribution of mobile applications made by i-Commotion.

i-Commotion has been in existence for three years and, as a result of the development of Microsoft Dynamics CRM on Blackberry, has accelerated its rate of development. It makes business applications mobile, particularly for companies who have a number of people ‘on the road’ as it were — technicians, sales people — and who need to shorten the time for business procedures. i-Commotion was set up in 2005. The offices are on the research campus at Hasselt, where they employ seven, and last year achieved a turnover of EUR 400,000.
