MOROCCO CHOOSES STAR-APIC

[BIZ: Liège, March 19]
STAR-APIC has just been awarded the tender launched in September by the Moroccan National Ports Authority (Agence Nationale des Ports – ANP).

The aim of the project is to computerize the collection, recording and management of data relating to the ANP’s infrastructure.

The STAR-APIC Group will develop, install and implement the Geographic Information System (GIS) that will provide a digital database of all the ports managed by the ANP.

In addition to the ANP main office in Casablanca, 11 ports will be equipped by a GIS server (Nador, Agadir, Jorf Lasfar, Laayoune, Mohammedia, Safi, Tanger, Tan Tan, Dakhla, Kenitra and Casablanca). A NeXT server, the Web module in the STAR-APIC range of products, will be also installed in the headquarters.

This new achievement places the STAR-APIC Group in a leading position regarding the management of ports in Morocco. In 2006, the Moroccan Ports and Public Maritime Authority (DPDPM) selected the solution proposed by this European software house.
