SPI+ LAND SALES

SPI+ sold more than 50 hectares in 2007, which increases sales by 11% as against 2006. In 2006 SPI+ recorded the sales of 87 properties with a surface area of over 44 hectares for a figure in excess of EUR 8m. On December 31, 83 sales transactions were signed for an area in excess of 50 hectares and for the amount of close to EUR 10m. The number of sales went down by 5% but the areas involved went up by 11% and 18% respectively. The sales related to 25 extensions to already existing business, that’s up 30%; 44 transfers from existing business moving, this is 53%; and there were 14 new businesses, 17%.

Of the land sold, 47.5% were to businesses in the Liège region, 31% to Verviers and 21.5% to the Huy-Waremme region.
