EURO ASPER 2008

The biennial European asparagus symposium for cultivation and trade, Euro Asper, will be held on Thursday, February 28 and Friday 29 in Mierlo, near Eindhoven. According to the first registrations, Euro Asper 2008 will be well attended. Meanwhile, the first deadline for registration has past and there are applications from over the whole of Europe

The seventh Euro Asper will be dealing with questions and developments in the European asparagus chain. Important themes are the national and international cultivation, asparagus research, health, markets and marketing. The symposium will be translated into Dutch, German, English, French, Spanish and Italian, so that everybody can follow the whole symposium.

Growers, traders, researchers and others involved or interested in the asparagus industry are invited to participate in this symposium. In addition to the two-day symposium there is a pre-tour for all participants on February 27. Teboza BV., Mts. Swinkels and Van den Elzen Produkties will be visited on that day.

Euro Asper 2008 is hosted by Aceera BV from Horst.
