TRAVELTAINMENT WUERSELEN

Traveltainment a.g., the market leader in online tourism has selected Würselen in the Aachen region for its head office. Traveltainment grew out of its old office in Aachen and is taking on another 1,600m2 with an option of another 1,200. Its revenues for 2007 were more than EUR 1bn. The company supplies booking technology for the leading German travel portals such as: Expedia.de, Opodo.de, Thomascook.de, TUI.de, etc. The advisory and booking bistro portal is used by 50% of all German travel agencies. Because of its enormous growth at 50% per annum, the directors Ralf Usbeck and Michael Kalt, are taking on more staff - with close to 200, it is already one of the biggest IT companies in the Aachen district. The move from Aachen to Würselen was assisted by the Regions Development Company's Michael Essers.
