MAASTRICHT IN PARIS
[BIZ: Maastricht January 30] With its products, services and expertise for many years, the Maastricht Convention Bureau is the intermediate to promote convention and meeting visits to Maastricht and surroundings. The goal of the MCB is to make a structural contribution to the economical development of Maastricht and surroundings. The MCB office is situated in the historical Dinghuis building in Maastricht, where the Maastricht Tourist Board is also located.
On Wednesday February 6 and Thursday February 7 , the annual trade show Bedouk will be held in Paris. Bedouk is the French trade show for Incentive Travel, Meetings and Events. The Maastricht Convention Bureau (MCB) will be present. At the booth of the Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions (NBTC), they will represent and promote Maastricht and surroundings as the destination for any business meeting. Thanks to the high speed train connection between Maastricht, Brussels and France, and the importance of travelling eco-friendly, Maastricht will be an even more interesting destination for French meeting planners.
The Holland Meeting Point (hall 5.2/5.3, booth number 7F2) is entirely about The Netherlands as business destination. For the second year now, the MCB is present at Bedouk, to convince visitors that Maastricht and surroundings is the best destination for their next business meeting. But that is not all: when visitors want to have their meeting in Maastricht and surroundings, the MCB advises them, completely free of charge, about the possibilities that Maastricht and surroundings have to offer for that particular meeting, taking the specific needs and wishes into account. And Maastricht and region do have a lot to offer; there are venues to suit all needs. Or, as the Maastricht Convention Bureau puts it: Business without borders.
