BRANTANO: 100% MACINTOSH

Macintosh Retail Group has announced that the number of shares tendered by the expiry of the squeeze-out period relating to the offer for Brantano NV on January 22, 2008 was 91,639.

This means that Sumi NV, a Belgian subsidiary of Macintosh Retail Group N.V., now holds 2,867,039 shares of Brantano NV, representing 98.6% of the share capital of Brantano NV (including treasury shares hold by Brantano NV itself).
