AMBIORIX OWN SHOPS

The exclusive shoe manufacturer Ambiorix of Tongres is going to start opening its own shops to sell its distinguished shoes. Ambiorix shoes are available at present in a range of shops but the management is going to open shops where the unique focus will be on these shoes from Tongres. Sixty people work for the business. It was taken over last year by the Limburg family group Vavedin; it had been in the hands of the LRM development company, Trust Capital and their management. Ambiorix shoes were established in 1895 in Verviers and 12 years later moved to the Ambiorix city of Tongres. Until 1999 it remained in the hands of the family and then there was a management buy out.
