ENERGY PREMIUM

By way of an exception, 500 Limburg families can receive a provincial premium of EUR 250 this year if they have a solar powered boiler or have solar cells on their roofs. As a result of the successful action last year, where there were premiums for 400 families, there were had 1,036 requests. It looks as if this is going to be an interesting development. A solar boiler costs between EUR 4,000 and EUR 5,000 and the solar cell panels are EUR 6,000 per KWP. The first 500 families who make a request can expect a payment. Then the province is going to develop an energy subsidy.
