On January 8, 2008 construction of the new AachenMünchener building will be started at the Borngasse/ Franzstraße intersection in Aachen. It will represent an investment of EUR 100m and is expected to provide 1,000 jobs. It also confirms the relationship between the company and the city. The building will be a product of the architects kadawittfeldarchitektur, who won a prize for their design. It will comprise several sections and also have two underground garages. This project is of considerable significance for Aachen.
